Manchester United sets its sights on Ismaïla Sarr

After a sensational season with Crystal Palace and four goals at the World Cup, Ismaïla Sarr is now catching the eye of several European heavyweights.

Manchester United has set its sights on Ismaïla Sarr to bolster its attacking options. According to Foot Mercato, the Red Devils have made enquiries about the Crystal Palace winger. However, the Senegalese star is not their top priority, with several other targets also under consideration.

At 28, Sarr is coming off the best season of his career. Winner of the Europa Conference League with the Eagles, he finished as the tournament’s top scorer with nine goals and was named player of the competition. He then carried his red-hot form into the 2026 World Cup, netting four goals for Senegal.

His pace, power, and experience seem to fit perfectly with what United are looking for. Manchester United’s interest could also tempt the player himself, who has previously expressed his affection for the Red Devils—his boyhood club.
