In a media appearance this Thursday evening, Bayern Munich honorary president Uli Hoeneß didn't hold back against Gianni Infantino.

On Thursday, UEFA announced that it will boycott the next FIFA World Cup if its president Gianni Infantino goes through with his reform. The plan, revealed on Tuesday, aims to sell stakes in the competition. Since then, the decision has been making waves among football's top authorities.

Honorary president of Bayern Munich, Uli Hoeneß tore into the FIFA boss after Thursday night's 15-0 friendly win over FC Rottach.

"Personally, I don't think Europeans realize how strong they actually are. A competition without Europeans is worthless. If the Europeans are truly united and work consistently towards this goal, Mr. Infantino won't get away with this plan. If he wants Fiji against Cape Verde at the World Cup, then let him have it," he declared.
