FIFA: "He brings us shame," Gianni Infantino causes internal division
For nearly a week, the crisis surrounding Gianni Infantino has continued to escalate.
This Monday, according to information from RMC Sport, several FIFA employees have openly denounced the governance of the president of the organization, Gianni Infantino. The institution is now destabilized after abandoning its plan to open World Cup ownership to private investors.
"We love football, it's our life, and now we're being seen as the killers of football because of one person. (...) He brings us shame, I say this very bluntly, it's total shame," an anonymous FIFA employee told the French sports media. On the other hand, several staff members are now calling for a change in leadership.

Following recent events, FIFA president Gianni Infantino continues to lose support despite withdrawing his plan to sell shares of the World Cup. This Monday, The Telegraph reports that the English Football Association will withdraw its support for Infantino's re-election bid for the FIFA presidency.
