France: Dayot Upamecano leaves the France camp after two matches
Dayot Upamecano will not play in the next match for the France team against Belgium. Suspended after his dismissal against Italy, the defender has been released to Bayern Munich and will leave Clairefontaine on Saturday morning.
The French defender had nevertheless taken part in two matches during this international break. He started the first game before returning to the starting XI against Italy at the Stade de France.
Against Turkey, Upamecano played the entire match, namely 90 minutes. He had not, however, taken part in the following match against Belgium.

Sent off against Italy
Starting once again against Italy, Upamecano played 84 minutes before receiving a second yellow card, resulting in his dismissal. This sanction automatically entails his suspension for the next match for Les Bleus against Belgium.
With this dismissal, the Bayern Munich defender will therefore be unable to take part in the final match of the camp. The French Football Federation decided to release him to his club.
Upamecano therefore leaves Clairefontaine having played two matches and logged 174 minutes during this international break. He will now join Bayern Munich to prepare for the rest of the club season.
