France national team: Désiré Doué speaks out after the 2026 World Cup

Days after the French national team's elimination in the 2026 World Cup semi-finals by Spain (0-2), Désiré Doué has made a public statement.

The PSG player broke his silence after this national disappointment via his Instagram account.

"We were hoping for better than a semi-final... However, I'll focus on the positives from this exceptional season—winning my second Champions League and playing in my first World Cup. I'm proud and grateful to have worn this jersey and to have had the chance to represent my country. I'm sure we'll come back stronger! Thank you all for your support," wrote the French winger.
