France national team: Marcel Desailly makes a prediction for Zinédine Zidane

Zinédine Zidane is expected to become the new head coach of the French national team after the 2026 World Cup.

In an interview with Flashscore, Marcel Desailly revealed that the former Real Madrid coach would make major changes in his player selections.

"For the national team, I think he's really going to try to erase the philosophy Didier put in place and impose his own. I'm certain that four or five players who were starters under Didier will leave the squad to make way for a new philosophy," said the 1998 World Cup champion.
