World Cup 2026 – Brazil: Neymar still absent from training

Carlo Ancelotti's squad continues their preparations in Morristown, New Jersey, but Neymar remains absent. The Brazilian forward once again missed group training on Wednesday. While some media outlets have speculated about his imminent return to action, the situation now appears more complicated.

In the midst of his rehabilitation process, Neymar is now expected to officially miss the clash with the Atlas Lions, Morocco, in the 2026 World Cup opener. His participation in the following two matches against Haiti and Scotland also remains in doubt.
