FC Barcelona: Anthony Gordon assesses his start with the Catalans
Speaking at a press conference on Monday ahead of Aston Villa in the Champions League, Anthony Gordon reflected on his start at FC Barcelona.
Although he was signed for €80 million last summer, winger Anthony Gordon has made a satisfactory start at FC Barcelona. Questioned by the press on Monday, the England international assessed his first steps with the Blaugrana.
"Out of 10, I would say 7 or 7.5. I have made a fairly good start, especially when it comes to changing countries and teams, both for me and my family. I have started well, but I can still give more. I will need time to find my feet, but when I do, you will see the best of me," said the former Newcastle player.
In 13 matches in all competitions, Gordon has scored 3 goals and provided 5 assists.
Gordon looks back on the two defeats
Speaking to reporters, Anthony Gordon felt that FC Barcelona had mitigating circumstances. « We have to take responsibility for these two defeats. We are capable of beating anyone. We were more tired than PSG before the match against them, and against Real Madrid, I think we were better and had more chances, but we did not play at our best and they scored two goals through talented players. I hope we can face both of them again », he said.
