Specifically, the French Football Federation wants to resolve as quickly as possible the issue of bonuses allocated to players of the France national team for the 2026 World Cup.

Philippe Diallo, president of the FFF, wants Didier Deschamps' men to approach the competition with a clear mind. "I had a discussion with the players a few days ago; a number of further talks will continue. On both sides, we want this matter to be completely finalized before the France team leaves on June 10, so that the squad can focus solely on the sporting tournament. The players made me a proposal. I need to get back in touch with them so we can finalize everything at the start of the week," declared the FFF boss on the sidelines of a general assembly in Ajaccio.

According to L'Equipe, the World Cup bonuses are set to be reduced.
