France national team: Randal Kolo Muani sends a heartfelt message to Zinédine Zidane

Randal Kolo Muani spoke at length in the columns of Tuttosport this Tuesday. He took the opportunity to send a message to Zinédine Zidane.

Randal Kolo Muani was asked about his absence from the 2026 World Cup and about Zinédine Zidane’s appointment as head coach of Les Bleus. “It’s an honor that Zidane was chosen, but we mustn’t forget coach Deschamps’ work. He was the one who trusted me for the first time, who gave me my first minutes with the French national team. And I am very, very, very honored to have played under his guidance. With Zidane, we’ll see how things go. For now, I’m focused on Juve, trying to score goals, to perform well, to make my mark, and then we’ll see.” said the former Paris Saint-Germain player.

The French striker also knows he’ll need to rediscover his top form to make it back into the national squad, where competition is fierce. Randal Kolo Muani could do so under the guidance of one of his idols. “I have several. There was Zidane, Henry, strikers in general, Ronaldo. For me, it was always the forwards, those who scored goals, who made children’s eyes light up.” he added.
