France national team: Thierry Henry is very brief on Zinedine Zidane

In a recent interview, Thierry Henry did not wish to elaborate on Zinédine Zidane’s appointment as head coach of the France national team.

Asked by Spanish daily AS about the new era beginning for the France national team under the former Real Madrid manager, the Arsenal Gunners legend gave a particularly brief response. “It’s not my problem. I wish him all the best,” Thierry Henry said.

The former France under-21 manager did not wish to provide any further analysis of Zinédine Zidane’s early days in the role. It should be noted that Thierry Henry was speaking as part of an interview focusing in particular on his new role at On, the Swiss sports brand for which he has become football director. The former Arsenal striker is involved in the company’s strategy in terms of innovation and sustainable development, with Kylian Mbappé as the project’s new figurehead.
