France national team: Zidane already meeting with supporters

This Tuesday, Zinédine Zidane was officially appointed as the head coach of the French national team. The appointment has already sparked excitement among Les Bleus supporters.

Indeed, a large number of fans gathered outside the headquarters of the French Football Federation, located on Boulevard de Grenelle in Paris’ 15th arrondissement. Zinédine Zidane took the time to sign autographs and snap photos with the crowd.

Zidane’s words for Didier Deschamps

Speaking to the press during his unveiling as the new head coach of the French national team, Zinédine Zidane made sure to pay tribute to his predecessor Didier Deschamps for his work over the past fourteen years.

"I want to congratulate DD and his entire staff for these fourteen remarkable years. I simply want to say: 'Bravo DD for everything you have done. Everyone is grateful for the work you have accomplished. This is my chance to say bravo.' Now, a new chapter begins with a different staff and new people. But always with the same goal: to see France win," said the new Les Bleus manager.
