According to L’Équipe, documents exchanged between the FFF and Zidane’s camp mention an official start date of September 1. This date would also mark the beginning of contracts for his future staff members. However, no final agreement or official appointment has yet been confirmed by the Federation.
Zidane could then face an especially intense debut, with four Nations League matches packed into just ten days. According to the FFF calendar, France will take on Turkey on September 25, Belgium on the 28th, Italy on October 2, and then face Belgium again on the 5th.
