France team: Hugo Lloris reflects on Les Bleus' defeat to Spain

Last Tuesday, the French national team fell to Spain (0-2) in the semi-finals of the 2026 World Cup.

Speaking to the press, former Les Bleus goalkeeper Hugo Lloris looked back on the French squad's disappointment.

"Obviously, it was tough to watch as a French supporter. I think there were a lot of expectations weighing on France’s shoulders and, of course, it wasn't the match all football fans had hoped for. Spain outclassed France and, in the end, they deserve a lot of credit and fully merit their place in the final," said the Los Angeles FC goalkeeper.
