France team: strong enthusiasm for Zidane’s first match at the Stade de France
On Friday, Zinédine Zidane will oversee his first match at the Stade de France as France head coach.
France face Italy this Friday in the Nations League. The clash has generated huge interest. In the stands, all tickets sold out in less than a day, two months before the fixture, despite the increase in prices. It must be said that the “hype” is also palpable behind the scenes.
According to information from RMC Sport, the Union of Sports Journalists in France (UJSF) asked the French Football Federation to accept 250 accreditations for media representatives. This figure is well above the limit voluntarily set in advance by the French Football Federation. 80 journalists have also booked access to Thursday’s pre-match press conference, twice as many as usual.

Zinédine Zidane will also be at the center of media attention. No fewer than 10 post-match interviews with various television channels are scheduled, compared with half that number normally.
