France: the FFF to support several clubs

In recent days, France has been hit by a major wave of wildfires in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Corsica, Occitanie, and the Mediterranean region. In response, the French Football Federation (FFF) has decided to provide support to the affected clubs.

Indeed, in a statement published on its official website, the French Football Federation announced it would "mobilize the necessary support measures to quickly provide appropriate responses to the clubs most severely impacted", and that the FFF's emergency aid fund would be deployed based on the damage and needs identified.

"During this particularly difficult period, French football must show total solidarity with the regions and clubs affected. Our top priority is to reach out to them, accurately assess the consequences of these fires and their needs. The Federation will stand by their side and will mobilize the necessary resources to support the clubs that have been impacted. I also want to express our deepest gratitude to the firefighters and to everyone involved in fighting these blazes," said Philippe Diallo, president of the FFF.
