Antoine Semenyo admitted he missed being in the skin of a striker against England.

The Manchester City winger sacrificed himself last night to help keep Ghana’s net untouched against England (0-0). For Antoine Semenyo, there are no regrets.

"We spent most of the match defending. We knew it would be like that. We had to keep our structure and give everything we had. That’s exactly what we did. It was tough. Credit to the team—we knew we wouldn’t have much of the ball and couldn’t push forward as much as we wanted. Every striker prefers to play with the ball rather than without it, but that’s what the team needed," the player told BBC.
