Inter Milan: Ange-Yoan Bonny returns after international break with Ivory Coast
Ange-Yoan Bonny has rejoined the Inter Milan squad after his spell with Ivory Coast. The striker took part in the Elephants’ training camp during the September-October international break.
Bonny played one match for the Ivorian national team during this period. He started against Ghana on September 24, in the Elephants’ 2-0 victory in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. He played 71 minutes before being substituted.
The Inter striker was also in the squad against Somalia on September 29. However, he did not come on during Ivory Coast’s 2-0 victory.
Ivory Coast ended this international break with a 1-0 defeat against Cameroon on October 3, in a friendly. Bonny was involved in the Elephants’ most dangerous move in the second half. He combined with Yan Diomandé, whose shot was parried by the Cameroonian goalkeeper.
