Jordan: Ibrahim Sabra ruled out of the 2026 World Cup

Just days before the kickoff of the 2026 World Cup, Jordan has been dealt a crushing blow. One of their promising young attacking talents has been forced to withdraw from the tournament after suffering a serious injury in training.

Ibrahim Sabra will not take part in the 2026 World Cup. Jordan has officially confirmed the withdrawal of its young forward following a major injury sustained during a training session, just days ahead of the competition.

The 20-year-old, currently on loan at Lokomotiv Zagreb, suffered a torn ligament in his left ankle. This serious injury has abruptly ended his dream of playing in the first World Cup of his career.

However, this new withdrawal is also a huge setback for Jordan. Already without Yazan Al-Naimat, the Jordanian squad loses another key attacking asset at the worst possible moment in their preparations.
