Maurice Revello Tournament: Jocelin Ta Bi crowned as second best player

The Ivory Coast national team finished the 2026 edition of the tournament in third place at the Maurice Revello Tournament, previously known as the Toulon Tournament. In addition to the bronze medal, the Elephants’ U23 players also stood out with impressive individual performances.

Jocelin Ta Bi was named the second best player of the 52nd edition of the Maurice Revello Tournament. The stats speak for themselves: he was named Man of the Match twice, scored 4 goals, and provided one assist. Those are the numbers of a true leader for Sunderland’s wing wizard.

The group stage was sensational for him. The Ivorian forward netted 4 goals, including a brace against Canada. With explosive runs, attacking power, and clinical finishing, Ta Bi showcased his full technical arsenal.

A graduate of the JC Abidjan Academy, he is now embarking on his Premier League adventure with Sunderland, and he has already proven he has what it takes at the international level. At just 21 years old, he is asserting himself as one of the Elephants’ most promising young talents.
