The Premier League has spotlighted the upcoming AFCON 2025 semi final between Egypt and Senegal by revisiting iconic Mohamed Salah-Sadio Mané goal from their Liverpool days.

With Egypt set to face Senegal at 17:00 GMT on Wednesday in the last four of the Africa Cup of Nations, the Premier League’s official account on X shared video of the former Liverpool teammates combining in red.

The clip shows Salah threading a pass for Mané who finishes against Watford, an image that instantly reignited memories of their partnership at Anfield.

Captioning the post, the league wrote:

“Egypt led by Mohamed Salah face Senegal led by Sadio Mané in the AFCON semi-final… Let’s revisit this Liverpool goal”

Salah & Mané spent several seasons together at Liverpool forming one of Europe’s most feared attacking duos. Now they stand on opposite sides of continental showdown, each carrying the hopes of his nation.
