Napoli have extended the contract of their Cameroonian player, Zambo Anguissa!

Napoli have moved swiftly to end any speculation surrounding the future of their midfield mainstay, making it clear that Zambo Anguissa is very much part of their plans going forward. Despite recent murmurs suggesting the Cameroonian international could be on his way out, the club's sporting director, Giovanni Manna, stepped forward to provide much-needed clarity on the situation.

In a firm statement, Manna expressed the management's unwavering belief in the player's abilities and underlined just how integral he is to the team's long-term vision. He went on to confirm that the club have already taken the necessary step to secure Anguissa's services for another season, having triggered the extension clause written into his current deal.

"We have full faith in Zambo Anguissa," Manna remarked. "He remains a fundamental piece of our project here at Napoli, and we are determined to keep him onboard. The option to extend his stay has already been activated."
