Official: David Alaba joins Udinese

As announced on Wednesday, David Alaba (34) will now continue his career with Udinese.

The Austrian centre-back, who has been a free agent since leaving Real Madrid this summer, signed with the Italian club on Thursday until the end of the season. An experienced reinforcement for the current 13th-placed team in Serie A.

“Udinese Calcio is proud to announce the signing of David Alaba, one of the most decorated and prestigious footballers on the international stage. The Austrian defender has signed a contract that will tie him to the Bianconeri club until June 30, 2027,” announced the current 13th-placed team in the Serie A standings.

After leaving Bayern Munich, David Alaba joined Real Madrid. However, he was hampered by physical issues during his time at the Spanish club.
