OM: Aubameyang's powerful words after his brace against Paris FC

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opened his goal tally with OM for the 2025-2026 season. The Gabonese striker speaks out after his brace against Paris FC.

Olympique de Marseille claimed a 5-2 victory over Paris FC at the Orange Vélodrome this Saturday. A hugely important win for the Marseille side after their 1-0 defeat to Rennes. Aubameyang, who netted a brace, spoke to BeIN Sports at the final whistle.

"It feels great. It was important, especially after this crazy week. We did it. The coach told us we had to play with confidence, to realize that we have a strong team even with a reduced squad. We had to make the effort together, be generous, and we did just that." said the former Arsenal captain. He continued: "There are big expectations, you have to step up. I'm ready for anything. I feel good physically. I'm not quite at 100% to play a full match yet. Ready to play out wide, as a number ten, or number nine."

With OM set for a long campaign after qualifying for the Champions League, Aubameyang discussed the challenge ahead: "We’ll have to manage it well. I’m not 20 anymore, but I think I can play a lot of games. There will be a lot of matches this season. The coach is listening."
