PSG: Liverpool's tempting offer for Bradley Barcola revealed!

Liverpool is gearing up to launch an all-out offensive for Bradley Barcola. The Reds are preparing a substantial opening bid and could also attempt to lure Ibrahim Mbaye.

The transfer window at Liverpool could be about to heat up even more. In search of a winger who can inject fresh dynamism into their attack, the club managed by Andoni Iraola has made Bradley Barcola its top priority. According to L’Équipe, an initial offer of €115 million is set to be submitted to Paris Saint-Germain.

Liverpool goes on the offensive for Barcola

Paris, however, is expected to turn down this proposal, reportedly demanding close to €170 million for their French international, who is under contract until 2028. Nevertheless, this opening bid could pave the way for more concrete negotiations.

The deal already has significant momentum, as Bradley Barcola has made Liverpool his preferred destination for the next stage of his career. The former Lyon forward is coming off a season tallying 13 goals and 7 assists in 49 appearances across all competitions with Paris.

An ideal profile for the post-Salah era

Primarily deployed on the left, Barcola also boasts the versatility to operate on the right wing—a valuable asset for Liverpool following the departure of Mohamed Salah, which has left a significant void in that area.

At 23, his pace, movement off the ball, and dribbling ability fit the profile sought by Iraola. In fact, the Reds have reportedly not pursued any other player for this position as seriously as Barcola.

Ibrahim Mbaye also on the radar

Liverpool could even attempt a double swoop on PSG by targeting Ibrahim Mbaye. The young Senegalese winger has slipped down the pecking order in Paris since the spring. Ibrahim Mbaye was notably left out of the squad by Luis Enrique in April.

While his coach publicly cited fierce competition and high standards, recent reports have also pointed to disciplinary issues. This situation could therefore present Liverpool with a second opportunity to overhaul their flanks in dramatic fashion.
