PSG: Ibrahim Mbaye sidelined, Luis Enrique explains

Since returning from AFCON 2025, Ibrahim Mbaye has vanished from the Parisian pecking order. Luis Enrique has addressed the Senegalese player's situation.

Ibrahim Mbaye has played just 190 minutes in 2026 since coming back from AFCON 2025. As a result, questions about his future have started to gain real traction. Several Premier League clubs, including Aston Villa, are considering signing the PSG forward this summer. In recent hours, Luis Enrique has revisited the topic.

"It's simply what I've said. Every minute you get to play for PSG has to be special. I have no regrets about Mbaye, but you have to be ready. He has been ready, but I expect much more from all the players. It's just competition—a player has to stay out of the squad sometimes. You have to make the most of every minute," explained the Spanish coach.
