At the end of the group stage of the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations, three players stood out for their outstanding dribbling skills. What do they have in common? All three are part of the Ivorian squad.

The Top 3 dribblers at the 2026 Women's AFCON are Rosemonde Kouassi (26 successful dribbles), N'Sira Ouédraogo (26), and Rebecca Elloh (20). These three players were instrumental in securing Ivory Coast’s qualification for the quarter-finals of the tournament.

Rosemonde Kouassi

The 24-year-old forward plays for the Washington Spirit in the United States. Champion of Ivory Coast in 2020-2021 with Africa Sports, she was also named in the French women’s league Team of the Year at the 2023 UNFP Football Awards, thanks to her performances with FC Fleury 91.

The native of Tontonou delivered an assist to Inès Konan (14’) during the victory over Burkina Faso in the opening match of Group B.

N'Sira Ouédraogo

The Nordsjælland striker from Denmark also tallied 26 successful dribbles, just like her compatriot, but proved even more decisive for the Elephants.

Scoring and assisting against Burkina Faso (4-1), she followed up with two assists for Grace Sery against South Africa (2-2), and netted a goal against Tanzania (1-2), bringing her tally to 2 goals and 3 assists.

At just 18, the Ivorian number 11 could have represented Burkina Faso or Ghana, but chose Ivory Coast. She became her country’s first-ever scorer at the U17 Women's World Cup, against South Korea in the 2025 edition.

Rebecca Elloh

The third name on the list is Rébecca Elloh, with 20 dribbles. She scored Ivory Coast’s first goal of this AFCON after just 7 minutes, converting a penalty against the Etalons Dames.

Now 31, she has been an Ivorian international since October 13, 2012, when she debuted against Senegal. She currently plays for Spanish side Valencia Féminas C.F.
