The 2026 Women's AFCON has entered its knockout phase. Ivory Coast and Algeria will face off this Saturday, August 8, at 6 p.m. at the Moulay Rachid Stadium in Casablanca. Reynald Pedros is likely to stick with the starting eleven that drew against South Africa (2-2), while Farid Benstiti should rely on the side that clinched victory over Kenya (2-0).

Finishing top of Group B and still unbeaten, Ivory Coast has maintained a solid core. For Algeria, Inès Boutaleb is officially ruled out for the remainder of the tournament after suffering a severe ankle sprain.
