The group stage of the Africa Women's Cup of Nations Morocco 2027 has come to a close. Barbra Banda tops the scoring charts with 5 goals, while three players are hot on her heels with 3 goals each. Starting August 8, the quarterfinal clashes will kick off, marking the final stretch towards the semifinals and a ticket to the 2027 Women's World Cup in Brazil.

Banda stands alone at the top

Barbra Banda has netted 5 goals. The Orlando Pride striker put on a show with a super hat-trick against Egypt in a 6-0 rout, and added another goal against Malawi in a 2-1 win. Despite Zambia's elimination, the Zambian star remains the tournament's top scorer.

The three-goal chasers
