PSG: Ousmane Dembélé given more time off (Official)
For the return of Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain will be without two of their key players this weekend.
Paris Saint-Germain are set to face Le Mans this Saturday for the return of Ligue 1. For this match, Ousmane Dembélé and Nuno Mendes will not be involved. The capital club has decided to grant both players a few additional days of rest, in consultation with Luis Enrique and the sporting management.
The decision comes as PSG seek to manage the workload of their international players as effectively as possible. As for the Frenchman, this is not the first time, as the France international had already been given a period of rest at the start of the season.
“In agreement with the coach and the Sporting Management, Ousmane Dembélé and Nuno Mendes are being given a period of rest. They will respectively return to training on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11,” PSG said in an official statement.

The two players will therefore miss the visit of Le Mans to the Parc des Princes. Their return to training has already been scheduled. It is a way for Luis Enrique to preserve two important members of his squad, as fixtures will continue to come thick and fast in the coming weeks.
