Real Madrid: when Courtois puts Espanyol Barcelona in their place
After Real Madrid’s narrow victory on Saturday night at Espanyol Barcelona’s home ground in LaLiga, Thibaut Courtois took a shot at the Catalan club.
Following their 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid in LaLiga on Saturday, Espanyol Barcelona took to social network X to complain about the supposed diving of Madrid winger Vinicius Junior, who had already been shown a yellow card. "How many dives does it take to get a second yellow card? Asking for a friend," they posted.

In the mixed zone, Los Blancos’ goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois didn’t hesitate to set the record straight with the Catalan side. "Take a look in the mirror before talking about others! You don’t see these tweets when teams like that play against anyone but us. For them, Calatrava should have been sent off—either for the kick on Vinicius or for the foul on Carreras after he’d already been booked," fired the Belgian international.
Just like his coach José Mourinho, Thibaut Courtois came to the defense of Vinicius Jr.
