Sergio Ramos could soon be taking on a new role at Sevilla FC. According to Manolo Aguilar (Cadena SER), the Spanish defender is set to become a co-owner of the Andalusian club alongside a group of investors.

At 39, Ramos isn’t ready to hang up his boots after leaving Monterrey, but he’s already laying the groundwork for life beyond the pitch. While searching for a new club, he is also involved in the acquisition of shares in Sevilla, the club where he first made his mark.

Sevilla FC is currently facing a difficult financial period. A bid estimated at €450 million is said to have been accepted by the current management, and the sale is reportedly close to being finalized.
Having come through the ranks at Sevilla before becoming a Real Madrid legend, Sergio Ramos returned to wear the Andalusian shirt between 2023 and 2024. Now, he could help drive the club’s development—from the boardroom.
