Transfer: Akor Adams leaves Sevilla FC and joins Venezia in Serie A
Sevilla FC has officially reached an agreement with Venezia FC for the transfer of Akor Adams. The Nigerian international striker is leaving the Andalusian club and is set to continue his career in Italy's Serie A.
Arriving at Sevilla during the 2024/2025 winter transfer window from Montpellier, Adams played 37 matches for the Spanish club. He scored 10 goals and delivered 4 assists, with all his offensive contributions recorded during the 2025/2026 season.
The 26-year-old center forward proved especially valuable in Sevilla FC's battle for survival at the end of the season, providing crucial attacking firepower in the final rounds of the league campaign.
His spell in Spain also helped him secure a regular spot with the national team. Frequently called up for Nigeria, Akor Adams now boasts 15 caps and 6 goals for the Super Eagles. He was notably part of the Nigerian squad during AFCON 2025, where the team clinched the bronze medal.
With this move to Venezia, the former Montpellier player opens a new chapter in his career and is set to experience Italian football for the first time.
