The young Moroccan goalkeeper Yanis Benchaouch is not planning to continue his journey with AS Monaco, according to French sources.

Born in Périgueux, Benchaouch has refused to sign a professional contract with the Principality club, opting instead to join a new team during the upcoming transfer window.

Not convinced by the sporting project offered to him, the 19-year-old shot-stopper has already attracted interest from several European and Arab clubs, according to French media outlet Foot Mercato.

According to the latest reports, he is currently on the radar of three Italian clubs—Inter Milan, Monza, and Modena—in addition to a Ligue 2 side in France, as well as teams from Belgium, Spain, Qatar, and the Netherlands.

For the record, Yanis Benchaouch was one of the key architects behind the Atlas Cubs’ U20 World Cup triumph, although he missed the final against Argentina due to injury.
