According to Tunisian National Radio, Anis Boujelbene, the current U23 national team coach, has emerged as the top candidate for the senior national team should an agreement with Hervé Renard not be reached.

The French manager has yet to clarify his future after the Carthage Eagles' group-stage exit at the World Cup. Negotiations are ongoing, but no deal has been signed so far.
