It's all over at the Stade Larbi Zaouli in Casablanca. After an enthralling contest, Ghana has clinched a place in the intercontinental play-offs for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup in Brazil. The Black Queens came from behind to defeat Ivory Coast 2-1.

A first half dominated by Ivory Coast

Just three minutes in, a Ghanaian foul handed the Elephants a penalty. Inès Konan kept her cool and converted to open the scoring. After that, the Ivorian defense stood firm, shutting down Ghana's attacks and controlling their lead. At halftime, a ticket to the intercontinental play-offs for Brazil 2027 looked within reach.

The Elephants fall just short of the intercontinental play-offs.
