According to Algerian journalist Yacine Benlamnouar, the Bosnian manager could leave his post after the 2026 World Cup, even if the Fennecs make it to the last 16. The reason: ongoing tensions between the staff and certain players within the squad, as well as a working method that is increasingly being questioned behind the scenes.

In fact, the FAF is reportedly already planning for a new era and has identified Hervé Renard as its top target to take the reins of the Greens. The French tactician, renowned for his impressive track record across the African continent, is seen as a profile capable of meeting the federation’s expectations.
