The Jordanian government has announced, in an official statement, exceptional measures regarding working hours on the occasion of the Nashama's matches during the 23rd edition of the 2026 World Cup.

In accordance with a decision made on the instructions of Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan, public administrations will exceptionally begin their workday at 10:00 a.m. instead of 8:30 a.m. on June 17, 23, and 28.

The government statement specifies:

The Prime Minister, Dr. Jaafar Hassan, has decided to delay the start of morning working hours in public administrations to 10:00 a.m. on the days when the Jordanian national team will play its matches in the World Cup.

According to this decision, official working hours will begin at 10:00 a.m. on June 17, 23, and 28.

This measure aims to allow citizens to follow the national team's games and support them during their historic participation in this competition.

As a reminder, Jordan will play in the World Cup finals for the first time in its history. The Nashama face a tough challenge in a high-caliber group featuring Argentina, Algeria, and Austria.
