According to talkSPORT, the FIFA president will hand over the trophy to the captain of the winning team, along with Donald Trump, as FIFA has agreed that both will be present on the official podium during the trophy presentation ceremony.

"We're going to be together with US President Donald Trump, enjoying the World Cup Final and handing the trophy to the winner together.

It has been reported that FIFA intend to invite US President Donald Trump to present the trophy at the end of the World Cup, with officials from Mexico and Canada also expected to be included in the closing ceremony plans.

Trump previously drew attention at the Club World Cup when he remained on the podium alongside Chelsea captain Reece James during the trophy lift.
