The dreams of England's Three Lions came to an end on Wednesday night against Argentina (1-2) in the dying minutes of the second semi-final of this 2026 World Cup.

Facing the media, Jude Bellingham offered his apologies to English fans. "We are sad. I wanted to be part of the England team that finally made it. Being here telling the fans the same things they've probably heard for years and years, it's truly heartbreaking. I'm sorry," confessed the Real Madrid player.

The Three Lions will play for third place tomorrow against France.
