World Cup 2026 - France: Deschamps has great respect for Morocco

After qualifying against Paraguay (1-0), the French national team will take on Morocco next Thursday in the quarter-finals of this 2026 World Cup.

In a press conference, Les Bleus manager Didier Deschamps expressed his respect for Morocco's Atlas Lions. "They are one of the best teams. We have five days, so we need to recover. We have 48 hours to rest and recuperate. We’ll start thinking about it in three days. It’s a very good team," said the French coach.

As a reminder, back in 2022 in Qatar, France got the better of Morocco (2-0) in the semi-finals.
