Turkey will face the United States in the third round of Group D at the World Cup on June 26, 2026, with kickoff set for 02:00 GMT at the Los Angeles Stadium. FIFA has assigned Mustapha Ghorbal to referee this high-stakes encounter.

The Algerian referee will be taking charge of his second match in this tournament, following his previous assignment between Haiti and Scotland, which ended 1-0.
