Norway broke the deadlock in the 39th minute through Antonio Nusa with a curling strike, after a strong start from Côte d'Ivoire, who squandered several clear chances in front of goal.

The Elephants came out of the break revitalized and nearly turned the game on its head. Amad Diallo, who replaced Chris Inao Oulai, leveled the score thanks to a brilliant assist from Nicolas Pépé in the 75th minute. 1-1.

But the next few minutes saw confusion among Faé Emerse's men. Without hesitation, Norway struck back swiftly. In the 86th minute, Erling Haaland, left unmarked by the defense, shattered Côte d'Ivoire's hopes with a clinical finish set up by Patrick Berg. Final score: 2-1.
