The quarter-finals are here! Eight teams remain in the hunt for the World Cup crown. The tournament has delivered a thrilling bracket with some mouth-watering matchups on the horizon: France vs Morocco, Spain vs Belgium, England vs Norway, and Argentina vs Switzerland.

Semi-finalists in 2022 for the first time in their history, Morocco are back in the last eight just four years later. The same goes for Argentina and France, who faced off in the previous final.

Alongside this trio, England were also quarter-finalists at the 2022 World Cup, where the Three Lions were knocked out by France (1-2).

Norway, the only debutant at this stage

By knocking out Brazil (2-1) thanks to Erling Haaland, Norway have reached the World Cup quarter-finals for the first time in their history. They are the only newcomers among the eight teams left standing.

Belgium last made it to this stage in 2018 in Russia, before suffering a group stage exit at Qatar 2022. Spain are back in the quarter-finals for the first time since their title-winning run in South Africa 2010.

Finally, Switzerland have qualified for the World Cup quarter-finals for the first time since 1954, after three group-stage exits and five round of 16 eliminations since then.
