FIFA wants to deliver a never-before-seen spectacle during the 2026 World Cup final. Just like at the Super Bowl, a massive concert is scheduled for halftime of the match, which will take place on July 19 at MetLife Stadium.

According to reports, several international music stars could take part in this event. To make room for the show, the halftime break for the final is expected to last around 30 minutes, which is much longer than the usual halftime interval.

However, not everyone is on board with the idea. Some fans welcome the initiative, believing it will enhance the festive spirit of the tournament. Others, on the other hand, fear that football may take a back seat to entertainment. This story is far from over.
