Zambia: Avram Grant sacked less than two months before AFCON 2025

Zambia has just made a major decision less than two months before AFCON 2025. Avram Grant, head coach of the national team, has been fired.

By mutual agreement, Zambia and its coach Avram Grant have officially parted ways. This comes with less than two months to go before the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. The former Chelsea manager leaves his post after leading the Chipolopolo to two AFCON qualifications.

It's worth noting that his tenure at the helm of the Zambian national team ends with a record of 11 wins, 4 draws, and 15 defeats. This marks the end of an era for Zambia, who now must quickly find a new head coach to continue their preparations for Morocco.
