2026 World Cup - Brazil: Neymar doubtful against Haiti

Already absent during Brazil's 1-1 draw with Morocco in their opening match of this 2026 World Cup, Neymar is not expected to feature in the second group game.

The former PSG star returned to training on Tuesday. However, Neymar worked separately from the squad, focusing solely on physical exercises, with no ball work or contact drills.

For now, the Brazilian staff are adopting a cautious approach following the calf injury sustained by Neymar at the end of the season. According to local media, the chances of the former PSG player making an appearance in the second game against Haiti on Saturday remain slim. Brazil is mainly hoping to have their superstar back in top shape for the rest of the tournament.
