Morocco will kick off their 2026 World Cup campaign on Saturday, June 13, facing Brazil in Group C action.

The Atlas Lions are set for their seventh World Cup appearance, following previous outings in 1970, 1986, 1994, 1998, 2018, and 2022.

The North African side has recorded three draws and three defeats in their opening matches at the tournament.

In 1970, Morocco fell to West Germany (1-2), before holding Poland to a goalless draw in 1986 (0-0).

In the 1994 edition, they were narrowly beaten by Belgium (0-1), before drawing 2-2 with Norway in 1998.

In 2018, Morocco suffered a shock defeat to Iran (0-1), then held Croatia to a stalemate (0-0) in the most recent tournament.
