The 2026 World Cup could well change the trajectory of Ayyoub Bouaddi. At just 18 years old, the Lille midfielder has become one of the tournament’s revelations after a standout debut with Morocco.

His performance against Brazil immediately caught the eye of European scouts. Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain are all reportedly in the running, according to several sources close to the transfer market. The Lille academy product impressed with his composure, pinpoint passing, and ability to dictate the tempo in midfield.

Under contract with Lille until 2029, the French club finds itself in a strong negotiating position and could set the starting price at around €70 million—or even more if the competition heats up in the coming weeks. The Bouaddi saga promises to be one of the most closely watched stories of the summer.
