2026 World Cup: Paul Pogba predicts the big winner

In a recent statement, Paul Pogba has predicted the future winner of the 2026 World Cup.

Speaking to Marca, Paul Pogba stated that the French national team currently boasts more quality players than when they last lifted the World Cup trophy in Russia in 2018. "Yes, I think this team is much better today. It has more quality than ours. We had a spectacular squad, that's true, with some very good players. We had a younger Kylian (Mbappé). Now, these are experienced players and there are other young talents like Doué, Olise or Cherki, who can make the difference. There are simply more quality players," admitted the AS Monaco midfielder.

He then predicted a third star for France: "Individually, I think this is the strongest team in this World Cup. They are the favorites and they are going to win."
